LADAKH GODS PALLETTE : September 2013
Ladakh is a landscape painted by the breath of the Gods. A simple breath of wind will cause high altitude clouds to tint the landscape with rolling shadows, glints of sun shining through will pick out subtle clours that the bright light of day may obscure. As if to give witness to this landscape, monasteries perched on high hills ring out bells, mournful mountain horns and chants as deep as mountain caves. CHASING THE THEYYAM: FEB/MARCH 2014
Join this small group tour to South India! Experience the ancient enigmatic India, go chasing Theyyam rituals in the impossibly green landscape of Northern Kerala and drift along uncluttered backwaters. Take an ayurvedic massage treatment and wander through the verdant green jungles and tea gardens of an unexplored part of Kerala. Performed only in North Kerala, Theyyam is a unique combination of dance music and tribal culture. This trip can be arranged for groups as small as two and for larger groups with a trip leader.
